Justin Jung BKin, CAT(C), CSCS - Certified Athletic Therapist

Justin completed his BKin at the University of British Columbia and obtained his Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta. He has been a Certified Athletic therapist since 2014, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2012. Justin was the athletic therapist for the Mount Royal University Men’s and Women’s hockey teams in 2013-2014, and an assistant athletic therapist for the BC Lions Professional Football club in 2014. Justin is also an athlete, having played competitive rugby, racing in running and cycling events. Justin specializes in upper extremity acute and chronic over use injuries such as rotator cuff tendonitis and chronic neck and shoulder pain. He believes that effective treatment must include full body treatment with stabilization patterns, building from a neutral pelvis.


Jason Edwards BHK, CAT(C) - Certified Athletic Therapist

Jason completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology from UBC in 2009 and obtained his Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University. He has been Certified through the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association since 2011. Prior to joining Evolution Sport Therapy Jason worked as the Athletic Therapist with the UBC football team and has travelled worldwide with the Canadian Soccer Association's U20, U17, and U15 teams. He specializes in pelvic alignment, and lower extremity acute/chronic injuries. He uses a variety of manual therapy techniques to restore function and range of motion of your ailing joints.


Catrina Guglielmucci BSc., CAT(C) - Certified Athletic Therapist

Catrina received her B.Sc. in Exercise Science with a Specialization in Athletic Therapy from Concordia University. She has extensive experience working with a wide range of individuals from youth, motor-impaired, recreational, and professional athletes to fitness fanatics. Catrina has previously worked with BC Soccer, Montreal Impact Academy, BC Lacrosse, and Langley Rams Junior Football, treating their acute injuries and rehabilitating them. Catrina is a devoted athlete playing competitive soccer, basketball, field hockey and cross-country running. She continued her love for soccer as co-captain of Concordia University varsity women’s soccer team. Catrina only works one on one with patients predominantly using manual therapy and corrective exercises. Her specialty is in treating aches and pains caused from desk sitting jobs, She believes that structure dictates function and must be addressed before initiating corrective exercises to prevent the patient from building on top of dysfunction.


Dr. Steven Mew DC. - Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Steven Mew recieved his Doctor of Chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Mew believes in a biomechanical approach to treating injuries by combining both diversified adjustments and multiple soft tissue techniques. His focus is in diagnosing and treating postural misalignment, muscular and structural imbalances. Dr. Mew is trained in Active Release Techniques, Kinesio-Tape and Graston Technique. He has treated at various sporting events including the BMO Vancouver Marathon, Scotiabank Vancouver half Marathon, the Vancouver Sun Run and the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Dr. Mew is a member of the BC College of Chiropractors, BC Chiropractic Association and Canadian Chiropractic Association.


Jonathan Sun BPE, CAT(C) - Certified Athletic Therapist

Jonathan completed his BPE in Athletic Therapy from the University of Alberta and also his advanced certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University. Certified since 2004, Jonathan sat on the board of directors for the Athletic Therapists Association of BC for 5 years including a term as president. He has worked clinically since 2004 and was the Athletic Therapist for the Canadian National Tae Kwon Doe Team for the 2006 Commonwealth Championships, Canadian Senior Womans Basketball, Canadian U-18 womans soccer, and BC provincial soccer program. He has additonal education in Muscle Energy Technique of Lumbo-Pelvis and Cervico-Thoracic, Active Release Technique upper extremity, Cranial Sacral Technique level I and Soft Tissue Release.


Craig Pangindian BSc. Kin., CAT(C) - Certified Athletic Therapist

Craig ompleted his B.Sc. in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University and also obtained his Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta. He previously worked as a Kinesiologist doing active rehabilitation for workers compensation and Motor vehicular accident patients. Since completing his advanced certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University, Craig has been Jonathan's understudy at Evolution Sport Therapy. He is Certified with the Canadian College of Athletic Therapy since Nov, 2009. Craig was the also the Athletic Therapist for the 2008-2009 All-City Midget Football Champions, Calgary Hilltoppers, and also the 2008-2009 CCAA Mens National Champions, Mount Royal University Cougars.


Terry Heras BSc., D.C. - Chiropractor

Dr. Terry Heras completed his Bachelor of Sciences in Biology from the University of British Columbia and received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. His goal is to provide chiropractic adjustive therapy and supporting soft-tissue therapies to patients of all ages to maintain their current level of physical health and to help patients overcome acute or chronic musculoskeletal injuries. He was the team chiropractor for the Fernie Ghostriders Junior team from 2007 – 2009. Dr. Heras is trained in Active Release Techniques (Full Body), physical therapy modalities and Kinesio-Tape. He received the Vancouver Courier’s People’s Choice Award for Best Chiropractor in 2007. Dr. Heras is a member of the BC College of Chiropractors, BC Chiropractic Association and Canadian Chiropractic Association.


Cheyne Torrent BAET., CAT(C)- Certified Athletic Therapist

Cheyne completed her Bachelors of Athletic and Exercise Therapy at Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia, and has been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2016. Prior to joining Evolution Sport Therapy, Cheyne was the Athletic Therapist working with competitive Taekwondo athletes at Cascadia Martial Arts in 2015-2016. Being an athlete herself, Cheyne has played a variety of sports as well as earning her black belt in Shotokan Karate. She specializes in lower body acute/chronic pain, such as chronic back pain and ACL repair rehabilitation. She believes that effective treatment includes patient understanding of the injury and full body treatment. Cheyne uses a combination of manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises to help promote the bodies healing process, and reduce risk of future injury.
